SoniiBeatz is a creative that likes to keeps his real identity unknown. He provides us with a soothing, yet impactful lofi production; incorporating samples, vsts, and his own producer tag. Currently Located in Arizona, SoniiBeatz focuses primarily on Lofi & Boombap; perfectly mixing the two into a sonically distinct sound. We took some time to learn more about this mysterious producer. What we found was intriguing, and unique, we think you will feel the same way.

Soniibeatz gains inspiration directly from Japanese culture. He stated that, "This track is inspired by Japan, anime, and the Eifel tower imitation in the picture [cover art]." As many of us out there were effected by the Covid-19 pandemic, so was Soniibeatz. But this didn't hinder his creation because he, "got into anime due to covid and that made me interested in Japan. This track is what I imagine listening to while walking through Japan." Sonically, Soniibeatz provides us with unique vocal samples, vocal chops, and VST effects; one that specifically stands out is an effect that sounds as if water was trickling down a building.

We asked Soniibeatz to explain how the songs art cover came to fruition, "The song cover is a picture of the Japanese Eiffel Tower. It says Na on the left and Ni on the right of the tower in Japanese because I was like 'what' when I saw the Japanese Eiffel Tower." (Nani in Japanese translates to "what" in English) An amazing architectural creation, the cover definitely fits the vibe of the song. Last, but not least, we asked him what his favorite thing about the song was to which he replied, "The sidechaining at 1:02 and the end of the song are my favorite parts." Big shoutout to Soniibeatz for a beautiful cover art and relaxing song. For people out there that suffer from wanderlust, yearning to travel again, Soniibeatz's "Nani" is the perfect song for you :)
